Membership Information

Requirements:
    Live on Salt Spring
    Be interested in Photography.  All are welcome - beginners to experts.

Cost of Membership:    
    $30.00/year - Cash or Check payable to: Salt Spring Photography Club. E-Transfers are also accepted. Contact the Treasure for e-Transfer instructions.
    You may sign up today through the website and then you have up to 30 days to pay your dues. After that, dues are payable in January of each year.
    How to Pay: Contact Treasurer (treasurer@ssphotog.ca) for mailing instructions or if you can attend the monthly meeting you can pay there.

    Show your photos in our Gallery shows:
        ECLECTIC VISIONS - annual Gallery show at Gallery8 in the late spring (May 17 to 30 in 2024)
            (Costs: Supported by those members entering the show only)
        ArtSpring Lobby Show - for the month of January  
            (Costs: Free + a lttle elbow grease)
        Country Grocer's Cafe - for January, March, May, July, September & November
            (Costs:  Free + elbow grease).

    Display your work via Slideshows and Videos. We are currently running Seasonal video/slideshows on the monitors at:

            Salt Spring Inn
            TJ Beans 
            Chamber of Commerce
 
    Access to all Groups, Workshops & Field Trips. Join any of our formal or informal study groups or field trips:
            Photography 101+ (share and learn from each other)
            Macro Photo
            Black & White
            PhotoShop and Photo Manipulations
            Night Shooting
            Existing Light
            Lighting
            Studio.   

    Meetings:
            Regular monthly member’s meeting which are light on business and heavy on education and sharing 
            Weekly coffee gathering - more social.
