Posting Etiquette

The SaltSpring Photography Club recommends to its members that they use good ethical judgement and when appropriate obtain permission to take or publish photographs of persons.  Members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Canadian Copyright Modernization Act passed in 2012.  The act speaks to photography and copyright issues.

Works of individual artists remain the intellectual property and are copyrighted by their respective authors. No unauthorized reproduction, all rights reserved.

An inspiring talk by conservationist photographer Isabelle Groc  is the basis for this month's challenge.

You don't have to go anywhere outside your backyard to capture wild things - all it takes is some patience and a little perseverance to get a shot of birds, bees, butterflies, tree frogs, lizards, sharp tail or garter snakes or dragonflies. Then there is the coast line and title pools.

The weather is cooperating so enjoy Nature's abundance and take your best shot.

Happy Shooting!
